“Carabana” Nike Blazers

Project Summary

The Toronto Caribbean Carnival, formerly known as Caribana, is a festival of Caribbean culture and traditions held each summer. The client traveled to Toronto to attend the city’s annual festival. These sneakers became the embodiment of carnival flair. We really tried to embrace the spirit of the event.

We made the silhouette resemble the costumes that parade-goers wear with a metallic gold paint, neon pink laces and a matching feather shaped nike “swoosh”.
