The Juku Effect

Project Summary

Japanese inspired work is always one of our favorite genres to take on. Our client, a female rapper from NYC, took the word “Juku” from “Harajuku”– a Japanese fashion style. The writing on top are the kanji characters for “juku” which also means school. She describes the concept of The Juku Effect as her lasting effect on the rap game and how she is schoolin’ the competition on how to be one of the best to ever do it.
